Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM)*With Sport Mode

VDIM is designed to predict and take steps to help prevent a skid even before it occurs by using a combination of individual-wheel braking, torque modulation and steering torque assistance. Headed to the track? The exclusive Sport mode setting adjusts the sensitivity of the system, raising the threshold before VDIM intervenes, and enabling you to push the vehicle to its limits.

Backup Camera* With Dynamic Gridlines

When you put the vehicle in reverse, the view from the backup camera is shown on the multimedia display in full color with dynamic gridlines to assist you with parking and other maneuvers.

10-Airbag System

The front-passenger seat is designed to detect whether the seat is occupied by an adult or a child, or is vacant. In case the system detects a child or empty passenger seat, the system prevents the passenger's front, side and knee airbags from being deployed. The front passenger's airbag features two chambers, creating an indentation in the center impact area that helps to provide occupant protection in a severe frontal collision.

Stealing the show for the latest Lexus has to offer is the all-new UX, a luxury subcompact SUV. Currently available in one trim, this 169-horsepower, 4-cylinder vehicle provides plenty of excitement, inside and out. The ES model has been fully redesigned for 2019 with a curvy and aerodynamic exterior, an improved luxurious interior, and better handling. The model features more safety options, and an F Sport trim features all of the latest upgrades. The hybrid trim has also undergone a similar transformation, including a quieter cabin. The RC received a facelift for this year with some exterior and interior changes, such as new bumpers and a more ergonomic design, including a console-mounted knee pad for the driver. A Premium Package can be added that features options such as heated and ventilated front seats, additional safety programs, and driver memory settings. The speedy, two-door LC not only receives updated infotainment, but also performance enhancements such as modified rear engine mounts, a new suspension for greater ride comfort, and smoother gear shifts. Other models such as the RX and NX have only endured minor changes, most notably updated infotainment to include Amazon Alexa and smartwatch integration. Finally, the GS hybrid model has been discontinued, though other environmentally-friendly models are available in this year's lineup.
