MITSUBISHI Outlander PERFORMANCE
Super All-Wheel Control
Meet the world's most advanced all wheel drive system. Select one of three driving modes - snow, tarmac, lock, to grip the road wherever you go.

Responsibility wasn't supposed to be this exciting. The 3.0-liter, 230-hp MIVEC V6 engine is made from durable, lightweight aluminum to decrease weight and improve fuel economy, while still providing the raw power you demand. By optimizing torque and valve timing at every speed, MIVEC technology also manages a stunningly high 26 mpg** highway.

Here's a CUV that's environmentally responsible and ready to run. The Outlander has you covered with a 2.4 liter, 4-cylinder MIVEC engine that delivers 168 horsepower. In other words, with a high 28 mpg** highway and ample power, you've got the best of both worlds: a fun driving experience and a low carbon footprint.

Save gas at every stoplight. Whenever you come to a complete stop, the Outlander automatically and seamlessly shifts the transmission into neutral. This reduces the fuel you're using at a stand still and, over time, you'll find it reduces your trips to the gas pump.
Magnesium Paddle Shifters
Though the Outlander's fully automatic transmission fits drivers of all skill levels, Mitsubishi also provided magnesium paddle shifters for drivers looking to rekindle their love of manual shifting. Sleek, ergonomic, and intuitive, these shifters accelerate the pleasure of driving for pleasure.
Aluminum Roof
Racing teams have long known that the less weight you have in your car's roof, the better it performs on tight curves. That's why the Outlander features a lightweight aluminum roof that lowers the vehicle's center of gravity, giving you more agile handling and a confident grip on the road. Our light-but-strong roof also improves fuel economy and enhances overall safety.

MITSUBISHI Outlander COMFORT
Flap-Fold Tailgate
Sometimes a simple solution can make a world of difference. The flap fold eliminates the lip found on many CUV tailgates. Instead, our tailgate can lay down flat, making it easier to slide heavy objects in and out.
Color Multi-Information Display
Conveniently located between the speedometer and tachometer, the color multi-information display gives you an at-a-glance overview of your Outlander's various systems. See gas mileage, service needs — and even set an alarm to remind you of anything you need to remember.
Heated Leather Seating Surfaces
Take the chill out of the air. The Outlander's heated leather seating surfaces always keep you warm and comfortable, no matter how cold it is outside.
Fuse Hands-Free Link System™
The available FUSE Hands-free Link System takes the convenience of advanced voice recognition and combines it with the power of Bluetooth®* to give you complete control over your phone and entertainment system. Stream your favorite songs from your MP3 player, call your family and friends from your address book - all while keeping your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.
*The Bluetooth word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Mitsubishi is under license. Other trademarks and trade names are those of their respective owners.Soft-Touch Dash and Door Panel Accents
The Outlander replaces many hard surfaces with soft leatherette dash and door panel accents. Elegant yet durable, they deliver style and comfort that last.
HDD Navigation with Real-Time Traffic
The HDD Navigation system makes sure you get there on time and enjoy the ride, too. Quickly look up destinations with the seven-inch LCD touch screen. Access real-time traffic, a database of US maps, and a Diamond Lane Guidance System that finds the fastest routes that use carpool lanes. Still can't avoid traffic? Turn up the stereo and relax to thousands of your favorite songs on the system's built-in music server.

Active Stability Control†
Active Stability Control (ASC) employs a series of sensors that constantly monitor the grip of the tires on the road. If a wheel begins to slip, the system automatically communicates with the anti-lock brake system to apply the brakes to the wheels with the most traction, keeping you in control of the vehicle.
† Safety is a two-way street. It requires your attention and cooperation. Please remember to fasten your safety belt, drive responsibly and obey all traffic laws.Anti-Lock Brake System‡
The road can be unpredictable. Which is why Outlander's anti-lock brake system continually checks the speed of each wheel and automatically adjusts braking pressure to maximize stopping power and control. If it senses lock up, it sends rapid brake pulses, reducing the chance of skidding on nearly any terrain.

Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) combines Mitsubishi's All-Wheel Control with an active front differential for the ultimate in performance and safety. S-AWC monitors the road surface moment-to-moment and automatically transfers power to the wheels with the most traction. Make no mistake-this technology gives you the cornering control you need to arrive safe and sound, whether you're in snow, rain, mud or ice.
Six Airbags**
The Outlander comes equipped with six standard airbags designed to protect all passengers in various types of collisions. They're hidden thoughtfully throughout the luxurious cabin, but it's sure nice to know they're there. ** Airbags are part of a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). To decrease the risk of injury from a deploying airbag, always wear your seatbelt, sit upright in the middle of the seat and do not lean against the door. Always place children 12 and under in the rear seat and use appropriate child restraints. Never place a rear facing infant restraint in the front seat. See your owner's manual and instructions provided with your child restraint for additional information.
RISE Body
Mitsubishi's Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body utilizes crumple zones that route and absorb energy during high-impact collisions. Strategic reinforcements at key body points complement its side-impact door beams, giving your Outlander a stable, secure base that's worth its weight in safety.
