2014 RAM 3500 PERFORMANCE 
50 KSI STEEL FRAME
The 50 ksi hydroformed steel frame incorporates additional crossmembers for strength and mass efficiency as well as hydroformed front and rear rail contours for a more secure placement of suspension components and mounts. After all, a truck is only as strong as the steel it’s built on.
THREE-LINK FRONT SUSPENSION
The innovative three-link front suspension is developed for both the two- and four-wheel drive models. It helps contribute to the 14,000-lb Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and the Best-in-Class 37,900-lb Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) available on the Ram 3500. With a wider frame and a significantly larger stabilized bar than the previous model, the three-link front suspension utilizes more outwardly positioned springs and stronger shocks to help give the driver a cushioned ride, especially when hauling a heavy payload.
5.7L HEMI® V8 ENGINE WITH VARIABLE VALVE TIMING
Standard on the Ram 3500, the 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) gives the driver an efficient engine option without sacrificing performance.
