EV/ECO Modes
Gas or electric is up to you. With Prius c, you can select the driving mode you want. Under certain conditions, in EV Mode, Prius c runs solely on battery power. ECO Mode helps maximize fuel economy by limiting the operation of the climate control and adjusting the throttle response.
SULEV emissions

Multi-Information Display
Get the information you need to maximize fuel economy. With the Multi-Information Display (MID), a color screen shows a variety of data – including cruising range, fuel economy, EV Driving Ratio, trip timer and outside temperature.

To help boost fuel economy, Prius c has an ECO Score display that rates how efficiently you are driving in three different categories—starting, cruising and stopping—and then gives you a score up to 100.
Five doors
With four passenger doors and a rear liftgate, Prius c is an easy car to get into. The large rear liftgate to the cargo area makes it easy to take what you need along for the ride.
Touch Tracer Display

Crumple zones

Nine airbags
