BMW PERFORMANCE
3.0-Liter, BMW M Performance TwinPower Turbo Inline 6-Cylinder Engine, 320 hp
The M235i features a 320-horsepower M Performance 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that boasts a maximum torque of 330 lb-ft between 1,400-4,500 rpm. Launching from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, this vehicle remains dynamic and agile even at high speeds. This unique engine utilizes TwinPower Turbo technology to help deliver increased power, torque, and efficiency on the road. It also benefits from improvements in the latest technology modifications to the cooling system, power management, and sound tuning. Finally, a twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision Direct Injection with centrally positioned multi-hole injectors, Valvetronic variable intake valve regulation, and Double-VANOS variable camshaft control all work together to ensure instant power delivery and the free-revving traits known to M vehicles.
8-speed Sport Automatic with Paddle Shifters and Launch Control
The BMW 2 Series Coupe impresses from the go; even when it’s standing still. The key word is one that gets all sporty drivers excited: maximum acceleration. This is made possible by a function of the 8-speed Sport automatic transmission, called Launch Control. One short press of the DSC button, slide the gear lever into ‘S’, set the brakes and activate the kick-down function with the accelerator – now release the brakes and find out what torque means.
Adaptive M Suspension & Variable Sport Steering
The M235i has a tailor-made Adaptive Sport Suspension for even more dynamic handling – electronically controlled dampers in the Adaptive M suspension adapt to suit the current driving style and road conditions. You can modify the damper characteristics using the Driving Experience Control. Additionally, the Adaptive M suspension can be lowered by 10 mm, increasing the vehicle's agility. A noticeably firmer damper setting is activated when the Sport Mode is selected via the Driving Experience Control. In Sport+ Mode, the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is replaced by the Dynamic Traction Control (DTC),which allows for even more dynamic driving.
M Sport Brakes with Michelin Pilot SuperSport Performance Tires
Larger brake discs and fixed-caliper brakes (4-piston front and 2-piston rear) provide enhanced braking performance. The M Sport Brakes are matched with 18” ferric grey wheels along with specifically designed Michelin Pilot Super Sport performance tires offering superior road handling, agility, and stopping distance. Wheel selection varies by configuration.

BMW 2 series COMFORT
iDrive 4.2 with Touchpad and 8.8" Display
The new iDrive 4.2 operating system features a touchpad controller and 8.8-inch display screen, available with the Technology Package. This optimized menu display takes the Navigation system to the next level with state-of-the-art technologies such as real-time traffic data. The revolutionary rotary controller with an integrated touchpad allows drivers to seamlessly enter destinations, phone numbers, and even more into the system.
Comfort Access
Innovative and easy to operate, the Comfort Access system makes it possible to open both the vehicle doors and trunk and start the engine without having to use the car key. The key, even when not in your hand, is automatically recognized upon approaching the car. Once the door has been automatically unlocked, the driver can get in and start the engine by pressing the Start/Stop button. The driver's foot must be on the brake or, with manual transmission, must also depress the clutch in order to start.
BMW Apps including M Laptimer
BMW M Laptimer is a tool for analyzing data on racetracks and automatically calculating lap times. The app records precise BMW sensor data directly from every BMW model fitted with BMW Apps.
Parking Assistant
This driver-assistance system searches for suitable parking spots and then steers your vehicle into them. Simply press the "Park Assistant" button, then drive along potential parking spaces on either side of the road, staying below 22 mph and no more than five feet away. Using ultrasonic sensors integrated into the side indicators, the system searches for and measures parking spaces. When a space at least four feet longer than your vehicle is spotted, it is shown on your Control Display. Shift into reverse and Parking Assistant takes control of steering your vehicle into the selected space; all you have to do is operate the accelerator and brake pedals. The acoustic and visual warnings of Park Distance Control provide assistance to get you and your vehicle efficiently into the space.

BMW Assist eCall™ and TeleServices
In an emergency, BMW Assist eCall, now standard in all BMWs, automatically sends your location and relevant information to police and EMT services, saving critical time when you need it most. Also standard, with BMW Teleservices, your BMW knows exactly when the next servicing appointment is coming up and informs you about any maintenance requirements. Your BMW Service Center will call you to arrange an appointment. Wherever you are, your BMW Service Center is at your side.
Rear-View Camera
Rear-view camera clearly shows the area behind the vehicle in the Control Display. Working in conjunction with Park Distance Control, interactive guidelines in the Control Display help the driver by showing whether a selected parking space can accommodate the vehicle. Parking trajectories, as well as turn angles, are also shown in the display.
Active Driving Assistant
Camera-based driver assistance system consisting of Lane Departure Warning, Frontal Collision Warning/City Collision Mitigation, and Pedestrian Warning. Lane Departure Warning including camera-based Collision Warning registers lane markings at a distance of approximately 160 feet and beyond a speed of 37mph. As soon as you drive over the lane markings on the left or right without activating your indicators, the system warns you by gently vibrating the steering wheel. City Collision Mitigation can help prevent collisions up to a differing pace of 10mph by actively applying the brakes, and at higher differences can help reduce the severity of a collision by pre-filling the braking system.
Xenon Adaptive Headlights
Our Xenon Adaptive Headlights with distinctive corona rings began as a groundbreaking idea that went on to become a major advancement in safety. Using an electromechanical system, our adaptive headlights follow the direction of the wheels. So as you begin cornering, the headlights turn into and around the bend, which allows you to see more of the road, sooner. Xenon lights, another BMW innovation, help provide clarity by emitting twice as much light as halogen light, while using half as much energy.
