TRANSMISSION
Both the Outback 2.5i and 3.6R come equipped with the Lineartronic® CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), which enhances overall efficiency versus conventional automatic transmissions by keeping the engine in the optimal power range for improved performance and better fuel economy. Drivers can also enjoy enhanced control when they need it, thanks to its manual mode offering six selectable speeds via paddle shifters.
