ECO and EV Modes
In ECO Mode, Highlander Hybrid modifies throttle response to help with fuel economy and can also help when you're slowly accelerating on low-traction surfaces such as snow or ice. EV Mode uses only the electric motor for situations where you're driving at low speeds for short distances, such as in a parking garage.
Hybrid Synergy Drive®
The Hybrid Synergy Drive® system in Hybrid Limited combines an efficient 3.5-liter V6 and an electric motor to produce 280 hybrid system net horsepower. At the same time, Hybrid Limited offers an impressive EPA-estimated 27 city and 28 highway mpg 17 and carries a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) rating.

This available feature allows you to open the rear liftgate and adjust how high it opens with the press of a button.
