The Ford Transit is built in Kansas City, with 12 upfitters located conveniently within 30 miles of the assembly plant. This means fast delivery to the upfitter of your choice to get you back on the job quickly. Transit was also designed for ease of upfitting.
3.7L Ti-VCT V6
The standard 3.7L V6 delivers responsive performance with 275 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Intake and exhaust valves typically have to open and close at a fixed point, compromising performance. But Ti-VCT virtually eliminates this compromise. With its variable control of valve cam timing, Ti-VCT can optimize performance across the entire range of the power band to match the driving condition of the moment. With the 3.7L engine, Ford offers an available CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep Package for power conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane autogas.

Available Lane-Keeping Alert
A camera mounted behind the windshield watches road lane markings to determine vehicle position and detect a lane departure. This available feature can operate during the day or night. Lane-keeping alert warns you through a series of steering wheel vibrations, which mimic a rumble strip, should the system detect an unintentional lane departure.
4-Spoke Steering Wheel
The 4-spoke steering wheel tilts and telescopes to accommodate individual comfort needs. Optional wheel shown.
