INFINITIi’s innovative new Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection not only measures the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you as well as the speed of both vehicles – it now also may help detect pedestrians, helping the driver identify a potential collision. The system works by providing an audible and visual warning.
INFINITI’s Advanced Air Bag System
Front seat-mounted side impact supplemental air bags and roof-mounted curtain side impact air bags with rollover sensor for both rows; front seat belts with pretensions, load limiters and seat belt reminders. The QX70 also includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors which adjust inflation rate depending on crash severity and seat belt usage.
