2.1L BlueTEC Turbodiesel 4-Cylinder Engine
BlueTEC is the state of the art in clean diesel technology. A turbocharged 4-cylinder engine delivers 201 hp and a massive 369 lb-ft of torque, for acceleration on par with many gasoline V-6s, along with significantly improved fuel-efficiency. Mercedes-Benz, pioneer of the first diesel car, has revolutionized it without the noise, odor and emissions of old. By injecting a solution called AdBlue® into the exhaust, BlueTEC reduces smog-causing NOx to harmless nitrogen and water vapor.
ECO Start/Stop System
A fuel-saving ECO Start/Stop system automatically shuts off the engine at stoplights and other idle situations. As soon as the driver lifts off the brake, the engine instantly restarts, for immediate acceleration response. The ECO Start/Stop system can also be shut off by the driver at any time.

Power Driver Seat With Memory
Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you find your ideal driving position with easy 10-way power adjustment. A memory system for the seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button, and includes the power steering column and side mirror positions. The lumbar support also power-adjusts four ways.
Heated Front Seats
Electrically heated front seats quickly take the chill out of even the coldest day. Three levels of warming automatically step down after several minutes to the lowest setting.
Power Liftgate
For added convenience in the rain or with an armful of packages, you can fully open and close the liftgate via a switch on the driver's interior door panel or a button on the SmartKey remote. Press a button on the driver's door or the underside of the liftgate and it powers itself closed. A sensor automatically stops the liftgate if it detects an obstruction, and you can set the system to limit the opening height, useful under low ceilings.
Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control
Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort.
