Both the 241-hp 2.0L turbo-4 in the SLC300 and AMG-infused 362-hp biturbo V6 in the SLC43 turn motion into emotion. Their multispark ignition and high-pressure Direct Injection self-tune every few milliseconds, so they turn fuel into good, clean fun.
Shifts Like A Dream, Swings With Your Mood
A new paddle-shifted 9-speed automatic combines a wider range with shorter steps between gears, to make the most of the torque curve. It's also lighter, quicker and more efficient. New DYNAMIC SELECT has a mode for every mood, from ECO to Sport+. Each one varies the throttle, shifting, steering and more. There's even a mode you can customize.
When Corners Get Sharp, It Gets Sharper
Every SLC embraces the curves and clings to the road with a sport-tuned 4-wheel multilink suspension. A new adjustable suspension continuously adapts the SLC300's damping to the road surface, or you can dial it in via DYNAMIC SELECT. The AMG SLC43 features its own AMG Sport Suspension, with more rigid components and refined geometry.

Power Sport Seats With Memory
Contoured sport seats power-adjust for reach, front and rear cushion height, and recline. For long-term comfort and lower-back support, each seat offers a lumbar support that precisely adjusts in/out in and up/down. A memory system for each seat recalls three stored positions for the seat plus the power steering column and side mirrors.
MB-Tex Upholstery
MB-Tex upholstery offers a rich appearance and supple leather-like feel, even in cold weather. It also offers legendary durability and easy care. Contrasting double top-stitching enhances the sporty, tailored appearance of the cockpit.
Dual-Zone Climate Control
Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 0.0002 inch from entering the cabin.
Heated Power Side Mirrors With Power Fold-In
The side mirrors can be programmed to fold in automatically when you remote-lock the vehicle, helping save space in tight parking areas. The mirrors are also automatically heated to help disperse mist and fog from their lenses, and the driver-side mirror automatically dims in response to headlamps behind you.

The first system of its kind, ATTENTION ASSIST® continuously monitors up to 70 parameters of driving behavior, and can automatically alert the driver with both visual and audible warnings if it detects signs of drowsiness on long trips. With enhanced sensitivity, the system can also help detect drivers who begin their trip drowsy, and offer more useful information to drivers along their journey via a new dashboard display.
Rearview Camera
This innovative driver-assistance feature helps you to see directly behind your vehicle when backing up. Shift into Reverse, and a wide-angle camera mounted near the rear license plate displays a live view of what's behind the vehicle on the cockpit's large central color screen.
Electric Parking Brake
The convenient electric parking brake can be set or disengaged at the touch of a button. It also automatically releases when you shift into gear and step on the accelerator. This feature also increases usable console space by eliminating the need for a conventional brake handle.
Seat Belt Technology
Equipped with Emergency Tensioning Devices (ETDs) and belt force limiters, 3-point seat belts are arguably our most important passive safety feature. If a collision exceeds a preset threshold, the ETDs instantly remove slack from the seat belts. Belt force limiters allow a slight amount of give in the seat belts, to reduce the peak seat-belt forces on the occupant.
