Designed to help mitigate or avoid an accident, the available Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) will automatically apply the brakes if it detects a collision risk. Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC) uses radar to maintain a predetermined distance from the vehicle ahead, helping to automatically slow or accelerate your Optima when appropriate.
