Puts Wind In Your Sails, With One Turbo Or Two
The innovative SLC engines combine fire-breathing power with free-breathing efficiency. Both the 241-hp 2.0L turbo-4 in the SLC 300 and AMG-infused 362-hp biturbo V6 in the SLC 43 turn motion into emotion. Their multi-spark ignition and high-pressure Direct Injection self-tune every few milliseconds, so they turn fuel into good, clean fun.
4-Wheel Multilink Sport Suspension
The 4-wheel independent suspension features a 3-link front axle and multilink rear design. The sport-tuned suspension features firmer coil springs and shock absorbers as well as a lowered ride height, for sharper handling response and a more aggressive stance.
Sport Exhaust System
A movable flap integrated into the sport exhaust system allows for intensification of the SLC 300's sound experience. The acoustics can be adjusted via DYNAMIC SELECT.

A standard dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 0.0002 inch from entering the cabin. In addition to full manual control of settings, the climate system offers convenient one-touch buttons for maximum cabin cooling and maximum windshield defogging.
Power Sport Seats With Memory
Contoured sport seats power-adjust for reach, front and rear cushion height, and recline. For long-term comfort and lower-back support, each seat offers a lumbar support that precisely adjusts in/out in and up/down. A memory system for each seat recalls three stored positions for the seat plus the power steering column and side mirrors.
4-Way Power Steering Column
To help you find your ideal driving position, the steering column power-adjusts up/down and in/out at the touch of a button. The settings can also be stored in the 3-position driver's seat memory.

NECK-PRO Head Restraints
In the case of a rear impact exceeding a preset threshold, NECK-PRO head restraints move forward and slightly upward, reducing the distance between the head restraints and the heads of occupants. This action helps to reduce the possibility or severity of whiplash-type neck injuries.
Seat Belt Technology
Equipped with Emergency Tensioning Devices (ETDs) and belt force limiters, 3-point seat belts are arguably our most important passive safety feature. If a collision exceeds a preset threshold, the ETDs instantly remove slack from the seat belts. Belt force limiters allow a slight amount of give in the seat belts, to reduce the peak seat-belt forces on the occupant.
Advanced Tire Pressure Monitoring System
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) can automatically detect a substantial loss of tire pressure in any wheel and alert the driver via a warning message in the multifunction display. The advanced TPMS can also display the numeric tire pressure for each mounted wheel.
Dual Roll Bars
A pair of tubular roll bars, made of fiber-reinforced micro-alloy high-strength steel, are affixed to the car's rigid rear bulkhead. The windshield frame is also fortified with high-strength steel in its pillars.
