The Drive You Want
The V60 offers a choice of Drive Modes, for a driving experience tailored to you. Using the diamond-cut rotary controller, which is positioned between the front seats, you can switch easily between three default settings for the engine, automatic gearbox, steering, brakes, stability control system, and engine stop/start function. You can even create your own combination with Individual mode.
Driven By You
The optional Four-C active chassis is an electronically controlled system that conforms to your needs. It makes up to 500 calculations per second to assess the current road conditions and driving style, and then adapts the shock absorbers to provide the optimum balance of comfort and control.

The "Thor's Hammer" shaped light signature - a key element of Volvo Cars' latest exterior design - radiates strength. The interior of the V60 is designed to delight. Highlights include a the 9" Sensus Touchscreen flanked by distinctive air vents, featuring a vertical central strip with a metal finish. There are diamond-pattern finishes for the air vents' control knobs, starter button, and driving mode rotary controller.
Your Window To The Sky
The V60 features a standard panoramic moonroof that provides lots of natural light. Those in both the front and rear seats can enjoy it, while special tinted glass reduces the amount of unwanted heat and UV radiation. A power-operated sunshade made of perforated material makes it easy to keep strong light out if necessary, while the large front part of the roof can be tilted or opened to provide extra ventilation. City Safety is a Volvo Cars innovation that helps to protect the people inside and outside the vehicle by looking out for potential danger. It uses radar and camera technology to identify potential hazards such as other vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and large animals ahead – day or night. It warns you if it detects an imminent collision and, if you don't react in time, City Safety can automatically apply the brakes to help avoid or mitigate a collision. In the V60, City Safety also includes Steering Support, which helps you to steer away from danger as effectively and safely as possible.
Keeping You On The Road
Accidents where a vehicle leaves the road - one of the most common types of accidents - are less likely to happen with Run-off Road Mitigation . It detects if the car is about to leave the road unintentionally and can then use steering and, if necessary, brake support to guide the car back onto the right path.
