Our range of gas engines are designed to couple fuel efficiency with smooth performance, delivering a thrilling journey every time. The XE offers a choice of two gas engines from the Ingenium range with outputs of 247 hp and 296 hp. Both 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder Turbocharged gas engines include flexibility to optimize the performance and fuel economy of your Jaguar XE.
TORQUE VECTORING BY BRAKING
Enhancing control across surfaces, the XE continually monitors and balances the distribution of torque to improve both the grip and steering of the vehicle. Assisting with its stability, the system reduces understeer by applying the brake to the inside wheels, forcing greater torque to outer wheels.
LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM ARCHITECTURE
A lightweight design reduces both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, without compromising on durability and reliability. The weight-saving technology is one reason for the car's pulse-quickening acceleration.
ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
The XE All-Wheel Drive system uses Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) software to enhance the performance and control of the vehicle. IDD analyzes current road conditions and distributes power between wheels to help achieve dynamic handling.
ALL-SURFACE PROGRESS CONTROL
Jaguar All-Surface Progress Control (ASPC) is a low-speed cruise control that helps you maintain a steady speed in low-traction situations.
INSPIRED SUSPENSION
The Jaguar XE features an advanced double wishbone front suspension design based on the F‑TYPE sports car. This helps give the XE a similar level of agility and connected steering feel. At the rear, an integral link rear suspension made from hollow forged aluminum helps provide excellent lateral and longitudinal rigidity, delivering sharp response and handling while retaining the refined and luxurious ride befitting a Jaguar sports sedan.

LED TAIL LIGHTS
The slim design of the iconic tail lights adds to the compelling presence of the XE. Taking their design cues from the F-TYPE, the chicane graphic LED lights emphasize the vehicle's sporting nature.

JAGUAR ELITECARE
EMERGENCY BRAKING
Helps to prevent collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians using camera, radar and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential front collision is detected, the system gives audible and visual warnings. If no action is taken*, the system applies the brakes to help reduce the severity of the possible impact.
*Please note that if any action is taken, even minimal steering, the Emergency Braking system will assume the driver resumed control of the vehicle and the system will automatically disengage.
CRUISE CONTROL AND SPEED LIMITER
Cruise control is standard in the XE, as is Speed Limiter, which lets you set a maximum vehicle speed.
ADAPTIVE SPEED LIMITER AND TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION
Keeps you informed of speed limits and No Passing Zone signs by displaying them clearly in the instrument cluster. The optional Adaptive Speed Limiter uses TSR’s signage information to help keep your XE within the appropriate speed limit.

DRIVER CONDITION MONITOR
By monitoring steering inputs and brake and accelerator pedal activity, Driver Condition Monitor detects if you’re starting to feel drowsy and gives you an early warning when you need to take a break.
LANE KEEP ASSIST
Detects when the vehicle is unintentionally drifting out of its lane and applies a corrective torque to the steering wheel to gently guide your vehicle back.
REAR CAMERA
The Rear Camera provides improved visibility when reversing. To assist with parking, static lines representing your XE and its projected path appear on the touchscreen.
