6.4L HEMI® V8 ENGINE
The 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine is the standard engine for the 2020 Ram Chassis Cab. Using variable-cam timing and Fuel Saver Technology, it provides full-rated V8 power when needed and outstanding efficiency when operating in four-cylinder mode. The standard 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission offers reliability and efficiency and features eight speeds and on-the-fly shift mapping to accommodate changing loads and road conditions. The Aisin six-speed automatic transmission is also available and has been optimized for exceptional towing as well as outstanding PTO capability, impressive efficiency and low noise, vibration and harshness.
6.7L CUMMINS® TURBO DIESEL I6 ENGINE
The Class-Exclusive available 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine is remarkably lightweight for impressive responsiveness and efficiency while offering exceptional torque on 4500 and 5500 models for outstanding towing and hauling capability. A fully electronically controlled transmission, the Aisin six-speed automatic transmission has been optimized for Best-in-Class towing capability on Ram 4500 and 5500 models and features new software control for seamless shifting. It is available across the 2020 Ram Chassis Cab lineup (excludes Ram 3500 10K models) and offers Power Take Off capability.
HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME
The frame on the 2020 Ram Chassis Cab incorporates an Unsurpassed-in-Class steel rear frame strength of 50,000 PSI with a hydroformed front-rail system that was engineered with upfits in mind.
MOBILE MODE RPM UP
In addition to Stationary Elevated Idle UP capability, which sets a specific engine-idle speed when your truck is parked, an available Mobile Mode RPM Up setting allows you to use steering wheel controls to set a higher RPM while the PTO is in Mobile Mode.
SPLIT-SHAFT PTO MODE
The Class-Exclusive available 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine lets you choose between two speeds in Split-Shaft Mode—either a direct 1:1 drive ratio (4th gear), or a more efficient fifth gear ratio—if the application permits.

CRUISE WITH CONFIDENCE
The Class-Exclusive available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop can help the 2020 Ram Chassis Cab maintain a preset distance, selected by the driver, from vehicles in the lane ahead. If slower traffic is detected, the truck can automatically adjust its speed all the way down to 0 MPH, even with a trailer attached.
PARKSENSE® FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST SYSTEM
The Class-Exclusive available ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist System features sensors integrated within the front bumper and your upfit that take the guesswork out of parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. Rear park sensors are shipped to your upfitter for installation.
