4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8
The 4.0-liter TFSI® twin-turbocharged V8 engine boasts an immense 563 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque to propel the S8 from 0–60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. The turbochargers are situated in the 'hot V' between the cylinder banks to create a shorter gas flow path that helps the turbochargers spool quickly and improve throttle response.
Predictive active suspension
By analyzing data gathered from the front camera, the electrically activated suspension system can adjust wheel travel and damper pressure to help provide a smooth ride over road imperfections and increase damping pressure to help improve turn-in response and reduce body roll.
Laser-sharp focus.
Under certain conditions, to help flood the range of lighting in high-beam mode, the available HD Matrix-design with Audi laser light and high-beam assist headlights project laser-generated light onto the road.
