AMG® wheels are substantial, stylish, and staggered in width. The C 43 and C 63 each feature 18-inch wheels standard, or up to four 19-inch options. The C 63 S wears standard 19s, and shares two 19-inch forged options with the C 63.

Aggressive sculpting of its deep front air dam, flared side sills and rear valance visually hug the road, just as the 18-inch or optional 19-inch AMG® wheels achieve the same goal in a literal sense. The diamond-block grille's hexagonal pins radiate from the central Star. A polished chrome cross-strut (black with the Night Package and Edition) and black slatted intakes expertly guide airflow past the shapely side sills to a deep rear valance with a chrome-outlined black diffuser insert.

Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. Active Brake Assist.
Radar-based technology can alert you if you're approaching a vehicle ahead, or even some stationary objects, at a speed and distance that suggest a collision is likely. As soon as you start to brake, it can automatically provide an appropriate level of braking to help prevent a collision or reduce its severity. If you fail to respond, it can also initiate braking automatically at a range of driving speeds. The system can also detect and react to crossing pedestrians at typical city speeds.
ATTENTION ASSIST.
The first system of its kind, ATTENTION ASSIST® continuously monitors up to 70 parameters of driving behavior, and can automatically alert the driver with both visual and audible warnings if it detects signs of drowsiness on long trips. Optional Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC.
A Mercedes-Benz innovation, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® cruise control uses radar-based technology to adapt your set speed in response to the flow of traffic ahead. If traffic slows down, it can reduce your speed automatically until your path clears. If the vehicle ahead slows to a stop, it can brake to a full halt. When traffic moves, you can resume with just a tap of the accelerator or cruise control resume button, or it can resume automatically if the stop is under three seconds.
LED headlamps and taillamps.
With longer life, quicker illumination and beams that approximate daylight even more closely than xenon headlamps, multi-element LED headlamps enhance both vision and visibility during nighttime driving. Bright white LED Daytime Running Lamps and all other front light functions are integrated within the flowing sculpture of the headlamp assemblies, making the design as appealing as it is illuminating. Taillamps feature a distinctive C-shaped LED design plus LED turn signals and brake lamps.
Crosswind Assist.
Interpreting information that is continually supplied by the car's Electronic Stability Program (ESP®), electric power steering and suspension sensors, Crosswind Assist can help detect the effects of strong side winds on the vehicle's handling stability at highway speeds. Whether caused by lateral gusts or even a passing truck, the system helps keep the car on course via strategic braking of the wheels on one side of the vehicle.
Blind Spot Assist with Exit Warning Assist.
When traveling above approximately 20 mph, radar technology can help sense when a vehicle enters the blind-spot area. Blind Spot Assist can then alert the driver via an illuminated red icon in the appropriate side mirror. An audible warning sounds if the driver activates a turn signal while a vehicle is detected in the blind spot. After parking, Exit Warning Assist can alert the driver or passengers to vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians that could be at risk if the door is opened.
Rearview camera.
For a better view of what's behind your vehicle when reversing, a high-resolution camera displays a live view on the central in-dash screen. Steering-dependent active guidelines on the screen can help you back into a parking space, and you can select between wide-angle and even wider 180-degree views.
