With three settings of suspension firmness to choose from, available DCC^® adaptively controls the damper valves of the Golf GTI with a refined control algorithm. Taking input signals from wheel sensors and front and rear acceleration sensors, DCC^® adjusts the optimal damping force, selectively applying force to the four wheels individually.

VAQ limited-slip front differential lock system.

The VAQ limited-slip front differential lock system monitors performance indicators like vehicle speed, wheel rotation, and lateral G-forces. This can help eliminate understeer by proactively making adjustments to maintain optimum torque balance, transferring up to 100% of torque to one wheel. Now that's power with brainpower.

Ventilated disc brakes.
