Ford Bronco PERFORMANCE
Built Wild™ For Unbridled Off-Roading
The 2022 Ford Bronco® SUV is loaded with class-leading* off-road features and brings durability and capability to the great outdoors. Bronco hits the trails with unique off-road geometry that gets you over and through whatever nature throws in your way. There’s also the standard High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) System, hero switches to help you control your off-roading adventures, and available front stabilizer bar disconnect for improved articulation over larger obstacles. And for optimal crawling capability, Bronco has available front and rear locking differentials.
Go Over, Around or Through, It’s Up to You
Ford Bronco® SUV was meticulously engineered, designed and built to help outdoor enthusiasts create adventures in even the most remote corners of the world. We’ll start with its impressive ability to get you over, around or through almost anything that nature puts in your way.
Off-Road Hero Switches
Depending on trim or options, just a push of a button engages the available front locking differential, the available rear locking differential, available sway-bar disconnect or the available Trail Turn Assist.
Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect
For extreme rock crawling, you want your front tires to be able to move up and down independently from one another. The available stabilizer bar disconnect feature helps them do just that. So, for you to move freely over rugged, uneven terrain, the system (when engaged in Rock-Crawl Mode or manually), disconnects over uneven terrain — providing maximum articulation. The system offers a unique-to-the-class design* and has a disconnect function regardless of articulation. The Bar can also be reconnected automatically when speeds exceed 20 mph on Badlands™ and 50 mph on Raptor.™ Standard on Badlands™ and Raptor.™
2022 Bronco APPEARANCE
Ford Performance Heavy Duty Modular Front Bumper
The available heavy-duty modular front bumper lets you accessorize with a winch, safari bar or pod lights. But, what really sets the Ford Performance modular bumper apart are the integrated end caps. With this bumper, you can improve your off-road clearance over the stock bumper, while still protecting your grille and fenders. The Ford Performance heavy-duty modular bumper also includes available forward sensing for proximity detection when needed for maneuvering in everyday driving situations.
Ford Bronco Factory Roof Racks and Accessories
The available Ford Bronco® SUV factory roof can support 110 lbs. while in motion and 450 lbs. when parked. It was designed to allow the two front-row panels on the available hardtop to be removed on the 4- and 2-door Bronco with the roof rack in place. For more roof rack options for your personalized outdoor equipment needs, check out the available aftermarket accessories below.
Tube Doors
These available Ford Performance accessories can be installed on both 2- and 4-door models.
Ford Bronco COMFORT
Ford Bronco SUV Interiors: Comfort Meets Durability
All Ford Bronco® models are purpose-built and ready for action. Pick the interior that’s right for what you like to do. Depending on the series, the level of finishes goes from Standard (just the essentials) to Lux (big screen and amenities such as a heated steering wheel). Which interior you pick should depend on how dirty you plan to get, how much gear and passengers you want to carry and how much style and versatility you want to bring to the trails.
Ford Bronco Cargo Area
From sleeping bags to coolers and generators, you need your gear when exploring the great outdoors. The 2022 Ford Bronco® has plenty of available space to stow it.
Grab Handles
Ford Bronco® has a standard center console grab handle on every model except Base and handles on either side off the dash. During development, Ford actually set up a model Bronco parked at an off-kilter angle, as it might be on a hilly trail or a boulder slab, and had the development team try climbing in and out.
Sport Mode
For sporty driving with improved performance handling and response. This mode increases accelerator pedal response and provides a sportier steering feel. The powertrain system holds onto lower gears longer, helping your vehicle accelerate faster. Two-wheel drive high is the default four-wheel drive mode. Four-wheel drive low is not selectable in sport mode Standard on Base, Big Bend,™ Outer Banks,™ Wildtrak,™ Black Diamond™ and Raptor.™

360-Degree Camera with Off-Road Views
The available 360-degree camera, part of the High Package, utilizes front-, rear- and mirror-mounted cameras to provide a full bird’s-eye view around the vehicle. Included with the class-exclusive* 360-degree camera are the unique off-road spotter views that help provide additional visibility and support to drivers in their pursuit of outdoor experiences like rock crawling. One is the unique off-road tire views (rock crawler spotter views) that are specifically designed to see where the tires meet the ground surface along with any adjacent obstacles or potential contact points that Bronco® is driving over. The other is off-road overlays. Using the front camera, off-road overlays show the path that the wheels will be traveling in order to help drivers navigate their way across wild and rugged terrain.
Hill Descent Control™
When enabled by the driver, Hill Descent Control automatically engages the braking system as needed to keep you in control while descending steep grades. Standard on manual transmission. Only available with manual transmission in lieu of Trail Control.
Rear View Camera with Backup Assist
The Rear View Camera provides a video image on the touchscreen of the area behind your vehicle. The camera is activated when you shift into Reverse and back up slowly. The screen has guides to help you align your vehicle with a trailer or assist you with backing up into tight spaces.
Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other drivers’ lack of attention can create a hazard. This feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry — they’ll only activate if they’re needed.
