10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
All F-150® engines now deliver their power through an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. The 10-speed delivers impressive overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears. With the available 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid engine, the transmission is specially modified to include an integrated 33kW electric motor.
SELECTABLE DRIVE MODES
Selectable Drive Modes have their own avatars and themes that display in your cluster. Each of the available modes creates an instrument panel environment that matches your action. With Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery and Trail (4x2 only) and Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Deep Snow/Sand and Mud/Ruts. (4x4 only) FX4 equipped trucks, F-150® Tremor® and F-150® Raptor® add unique modes like Rock Crawl and more.
3.3L Ti-VCT V6
The 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 delivers responsive performance with 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque. The twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) opens/closes the valves in precise duration to suit operating conditions, so power output is optimized at every point across the performance band. The 3.3L also has the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder - one mounted in the air intake port, another inside the cylinder.
FULLY BOXED HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME
F-150® has toughness in its bones, built with a fully boxed frame made of high-strength steel and large cross-sections. And while it's undoubtedly strong and rigid, this frame is also relatively lightweight because many of the components are fabricated using a state-of-the-art roll-forming process.

Then all you have to do is brake to a complete stop, shift into Neutral and hold down the Active Park Assist button – your vehicle does the rest. Available Active Park Assist 2.0 also offers park out assist with side-sensing capability so you can confidently navigate out of a parking spot when someone’s parked too close to you.

An advanced infrared driver-facing camera will track eye gaze and head position to help ensure drivers are paying attention to the road while in Hands-Free Mode as well as hands- on Lane Centering Mode, which works on any road with lane lines. Drivers will be notified by visual prompts on their instrument cluster whenthey need to return their attention to the road or resume control of the vehicle.
