Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop and Go[1] uses sensors to detect objects in its path. If the lane ahead is clear, the set speed is maintained. When slower traffic is detected, the system will automatically adjust to a pre-selected distance using throttle control and limited braking. ACC with Stop and Go will bring the vehicle to a full stop if necessary. Then if you press the resume button or tap the accelerator pedal, Speed Control will re-engage as traffic begins to move.
Lane Keep Assist
LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist[1] measures the vehicle's position within lane boundaries and monitors the vehicle's movement. The system alerts the driver during unintentional lane drifts and, using the electric power steering system, will help course correct the vehicle back into the lane if the driver does not respond.
Pedestrian Emergency Braking
Pedestrian Emergency Braking[1] is a crash avoidance system that uses information from forward-looking sensors and cameras to automatically apply the brakes in driving situations where a pedestrian is in imminent danger of being hit by the vehicle and the driver has not responded.
