12-inch instrument panel
The 12-inch instrument panel intuitively shows relevant driver information – including navigation directions, telephone and current road signs. The display layout adapts to how you use it, and there are four graphic modes to choose from. Right in front of the driver, the display features two large round instruments and one central information display. If you use the navigation system, that display becomes bigger. To enhance comfort for the eyes, instrument panel brightness automatically adjusts to take exterior light into account.

Rain sensor
The rain sensor can start the windshield wipers as soon as it begins to rain or if water splashes onto the windshield. For your convenience, it also adjusts the speed of the windshield wipers.
BLIS™ and Cross Traffic Alert
This feature can assist in heavy traffic and when backing up. When a vehicle enters your blind spot or approaches quickly from behind, you can be alerted by a light in the door mirrors. And if you drift into the path of another vehicle, your Volvo can help steer you back into your lane. To help make parking safer, it can also alert you of crossing traffic when you're backing up out of a parking space with limited rear visibility. It can even brake for you if there's a risk of collision. BLIS™ and Cross Traffic Alert is part of our driver awareness technologies. Lane Keeping Aid
This feature assists you at speeds above 65 km/h (40 mph). If you're about to cross a lane marking without using the indicator, the vehicle will gently steer you back into the lane. If the steering intervention is not enough or you keep steering across the lane markings, you'll be alerted with vibrations in the steering wheel.
