Active Park Distance Control
Active Park Distance Control uses ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers to help you judge the distance to other vehicles and unseen objects when parking. The system uses an audible warning that beeps faster the closer you get to an object, turning into a constant tone when the distance is less than 12 inches. Automatic braking will engage when stationary objects are detected as you back up slowly, or if there are obstacles in the immediate vicinity in front of or behind the vehicle.
Active Cruise Control
Active Cruise Control maintains your selected speed; it also uses radar to keep your preselected distance from the vehicle ahead with limited-force automated braking - a useful feature in stop-and-go traffic. Also included is Frontal Collision Warning: if the vehicle ahead suddenly brakes, you are alerted and, if necessary, the brakes engage.
