AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive
A specially engineered version of 4MATIC can instantly vary the front-to-rear torque distribution in precise response to driving conditions and driver inputs. It can even send up to 100% to the rear wheels. An electromechanical coupling between the front and rear axles is controlled based on an elaborate matrix of driving mode, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, and available grip to optimize handling and acceleration right up to the physical limits, on virtually any road or track surface.
AMG electronic limited-slip rear differential
The limited-slip differential's electronic control can lock the differential with greater precision and speed, based on the changing driving demands as you corner, accelerate and brake. Dynamic variable locking also allows higher cornering speeds at the limit, adapting to road-surface friction, lateral forces and other driving conditions as they as are experienced.
AMG High-performance Braking System
AMG high-performance brakes shed both speed and heat with remarkable power, thanks to internally ventilated discs at all four wheels. Perforated front discs measure 15.7 inches and are grasped by silver-painted 6-piston fixed-type calipers. Rear brakes are 14.6 inches in diameter and feature single-piston sliding calipers.
Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine with hybrid assist
The acclaimed AMG biturbo V8 propels performance into a new era again. Generating 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque from a modest 4.0 liters, it can rush to 60 in 4.1 seconds and deliver swift response at any speed. Its "hot inside V" turbo location cuts lag and losses. An electricIntegrated Starter-Generator can efficiently add gas-free torque. AMG Cylinder Management can seamlessly deactivate four cylinders. Yet even with its advancements, each V8 is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.

LED Intelligent Light System with Ultra Wide Highbeams
Pioneered by Mercedes-Benz, active LED headlamps can generate light that's perceived much like natural daylight. Active Curve Illumination and Adaptive Highbeam Assist continuously adjust the beam pattern of the LEDs in each headlamp to help maximize the illumination of corners and straightaways, without creating glare for other drivers. An Ultra Wide Highbeam feature is designed to better illuminate the road and the environment along either side.

12.3-inch digital instrument cluster display
Dual 12.3-inch displays include a central multimedia touchscreen and a reconfigurable instrument cluster in front of the driver. You can select any of four AMG-design instrumentation styles: Modern Classic, Sporty, Discreet and Supersport. Supersport can show extensive performance info, including a racing-inspired upshift prompt for the manual shift mode. Other data can include a warm-up menu, graphical G-force meter, and key engine info including hp/torque output and fluid temperatures.
64-color LED ambient lighting/illuminated door sills
A network of LEDs let you create cabin ambience to suit your mood. Edge-lighting outlines the dash/door trim and console grips, and casts a glow in the footwells, door handles and door pockets. Along with 64 selectable colors and adjustable brightness, numerous programs let you enjoy two colors at once, or slowly changing hues. The dash lighting briefly acknowledges your climate-control adjustments. And a "light show" plus front door sills with backlit Mercedes-Benz logos greet your arrival.
Inductive wireless charging with NFC pairing
Advanced NFC technology allows wireless charging of a compatible phone or other device that supports the Qi standard. An inductive tray in the console lets you charge your device's battery as you drive, without plugging it in. Pairing your device with the vehicle can be performed by simply holding your device near a pairing point in the console. Once paired, your vehicle can recognize when you enter the car with the device, and quickly establish secure wireless data transfer automatically.
Power liftgate
For added convenience in the rain or with an armful of packages, you can fully open and close the liftgate via a switch on the driver's interior door panel or a button on the SmartKey remote. Press a button on the driver's door or the underside of the liftgate and it powers itself closed. A sensor automatically stops the liftgate if it detects an obstruction, and you can set the system to limit the opening height, useful under low ceilings.
5-zone automatic climate control
For an extraordinarily personalized degree of cabin comfort, 5-zone climate control offers individual left and right comfort zones in both the first and second rows, plus a fifth zone for the third row. For added convenience, the entire cabin can be synched as one zone at the touch of a button.
Power front seats with memory
Power front seats feature intuitive, seat-shaped controls on the door, plus a 4-way power lumbar support. To set and save your ideal driving position, a memory system for each front seat recalls three stored positions for the seat, plus the positions of the 4-way power steering column and side mirrors for the driver.

Active Emergency Stop Assist
While Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® provides an extraordinary degree of driving ease when cruising, the driver must still remain able to intervene at any time. For this reason, if Active Steering Assist detects the driver's hands off the steering wheel for a prolonged period, it can provide both visual and audible alerts. If the driver does not respond, DISTRONIC can reduce the cruising speed in stages, all the way to a stop, unless the driver resumes control of the vehicle.
Evasive Steering Assist
This breakthrough system can activate if you initiate an evasive maneuver while the vehicle's sensors detect an impending risk of collision with a pedestrian in your path. The system can provide a calculated steering force to assist you in executing the move, then can help ease the straightening of the vehicle in the adjacent lane after the maneuver.
Rear-window wiper with auto-on in Reverse
Whenever the front wipers are on and you shift to Reverse, the rear-window wiper can sweep automatically to clear your view out the back. The wiper can also be switched on to its intermittent setting at any time by the driver, and includes a washer.
