Road Sign Information
Road Sign Information alerts you to speed limits, "no passing," "do not enter" and various types of supplementary signs. The road sign is displayed on the speedometer or in the head-up display. If you exceed the speed limit, Road Sign Information can alert you with a flashing speed limit sign icon. It can also inform you about speed cameras. And if you drive in the wrong direction on a one-way street, you'll be alerted with a no-entry sign icon. Oncoming Lane Mitigation
Using automatic steering assistance, this system helps you avoid collisions with oncoming vehicles. If you cross a lane marking into the path of an oncoming vehicle, your vehicle will automatically steer the vehicle back into your lane and alert you. Active between 60 and 140 km/h (37 and 87 mph). BLIS™ and Cross Traffic Alert
This feature can assist in heavy traffic and when backing up. When a vehicle enters your blind spot or approaches quickly from behind, you can be alerted by a light in the door mirrors. And if you drift into the path of another vehicle, your Volvo can help steer you back into your lane. To help make parking safer, it can also alert you of crossing traffic when you're backing up out of a parking space with limited rear visibility.
