Tri-motor EV.
Unique to the Audi SQ8 Sportback e-tron are its three electric motors—one that powers the front wheels and two that power the rear. The twin rear motors offer exceptional traction by actively distributing torque to each individual wheel.
e-torque vectoring.
Bringing similar characteristics of the sport rear differential to the electric era, e-torque vectoring quickly distributes torque on the rear axle to the wheel that needs it most—making for excellent traction and improved agility when powering through turns.
Progressive steering.
Combined with speed-sensitive power assist, progressive steering provides a more direct connection to your Audi SQ8 Sportback e-tron by gradually quickening the steering ratio as the wheels turn further in. The result is enhanced driving feel and improved steering response at higher speeds, while also reducing driver effort during low-speed maneuvers.
