Rear 215kW permanently synchronous electric motor
Smooth, quiet and rich in torque, the EQE 350+ SUV is powered by an advanced 215kW electric motor that can send up to 288 hp and 391-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The "permanently excited synchronous motor" (PSM) features permanent magnets to generate AC current with high power density and efficiency. An advanced cooling system helps maintain consistent response during spirited driving and a wide range of climates.
Advanced 96-kWh EV battery
Advanced battery technology in the EQE offers significantly higher energy density. The high-voltage battery's energy content, increased to 96 kWh for greater range, is managed by innovative software, developed by Mercedes-Benz, that can be updated over the air, without a dealer visit, to help maintain its performance throughout its long lifespan.
DYNAMIC SELECT
A multimode drive program selector on the console lets you transform the car's character with the flip of a switch. Three modes (ECO, Comfort and Sport) alter the drivetrain response, steering effort, and available AIRMATIC® suspension. A fourth "Individual" mode allows you to create a mode of your own.

Available AIRMATIC® suspension can adapt ride height and comfort from off-road to enhanced highway aerodynamics. Available 10° rear-axle steering can tighten low-speed turns by five feet, or make lane changes and evasive maneuvers swifter and more stable.

Four smartphone-like pads offer direct control of countless cockpit features. The upper touchpads operate the menu screen in the gauge cluster or the central multimedia display. Larger, lower touchpads let you vary your cruising speed or adjust the audio volume, all with your hands on the wheel.
Burmester 3D Surround Sound system w/EV Sound
The Burmester® 3D system pairs innovations in mobile audio with legendary quality. A Digital Signal Processing amp can output 710 total watts to deliver a natural sound spectrum in any music genre. A total of 15 speakers includes 3D surround speakers, exquisitely drilled metal speaker grilles, and body-integrated FrontBass subwoofers. Pre-entry climate control
You can precondition the cabin comfort while the EQE is plugged in, before you even enter. The start time and settings for the climate control, along with activation of seat heating or available ventilation, can be preselected via controls in the cabin or turned on via the Mercedes me connect app on your smartphone. With optional Energizing Air Control Plus, the cabin air can even be pre-purified. Preconditioning while the car is charging helps to extend your driving range once you're underway.
Front-cabin wireless charging with NFC pairing
Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology allows wireless charging of a compatible phone or other device that supports the Qi standard. An inductive charging tray in the front-cabin console lets you charge your device's battery while you drive without plugging it in.

Active Lane Keeping Assist
With technology to monitor ordinary road markings above a certain driving speed, Active Lane Keeping Assist can help detect unintended drifting off-course, and alert you by vibrating the steering wheel. If you continue to drift, it can selectively brake individual wheels to help guide the car back. Enhancements help it alert you to overtaking vehicles, vehicles you'd need to overtake if you change lanes, and even traffic in the adjacent lane or along the road edge for safer evasive moves.
7 air bags
An advanced system of 7 air bags offers 9-way occupant protection. There are dual two-stage front air bags, a driver’s knee air bag, front side-impact air bags, and side curtain air bags for both seating rows.
Active Stop-and-Go Assist
This innovation can enable the vehicle to recognize when you're approaching a traffic jam earlier while using Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® cruise control. The system can then actively support you in negotiating the stop-and-go driving at speeds up to 37 mph, with stops of up to a minute, to make it easier and less stressful.
Front and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert w/pedestrian detection and automatic braking
Using the ultrasonic sensors of Active Parking Assist and multiple cameras, this system can help audibly and visually alert the driver to approaching cross-traffic or pedestrians when backing or pulling out of a parking space at low speed. Especially helpful if your view is obstructed by vehicles or structures, the system can also apply the brakes. The sensors can also help detect if the driver has engaged the wrong gear or pedal for exiting a confined space.
