2025 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Performance
4.0 liter six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine.
Derived from the 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR directly: {368 kW (493 hp) at 8,400 rpm, max. torque 331 lb-ft at 6,750 rpm. The centrally positioned 4.0-liter six-cylinder high-revving naturally aspirated boxer engine is by far the most powerful in the 718 model range.
Engine technology derived from motorsports.
6 individual throttle valves supply the 6 cylinders with air for direct responsiveness and excellent dosing of the engine. It is powerful and robust thanks to a central oil feed, forged pistons and lightweight titanium con rods.
Its heart beats in the center. And you can hear it.
Flacht. The birthplace and home of Porsche race cars. It is also where the engine of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS comes from. Developed, tested and improved for that one tenth of a second that can be decisive on the race track.
Airbox.
Visible engine technology: The airbox has been relocated to the interior and features a re-developed air filter for a robust interior sound and optimum air supply.
2025 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Appearance
Aerodynamics.
Distinctive features: The fixed rear wing with swan-neck connection and the rear diffuser. For high downforce and high traction – and the closest possible proximity to motorsports.
Weissach Package.
It can be recognized from the “Weissach RS” logo, the characteristic use of carbon-fiber finish throughout and the geometric optimization of the upper side air intakes for even better air supply.
Front diffuser.
The multi-stage adjustable front diffuser improves the aerodynamic balance of the vehicle and is designed to minimize air resistance to achieve top speed. In the non-road-legal performance setting for track use, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS achieves significantly more downforce compared to the 718 Cayman GT4, and this optimizes the vehicle's stability, especially during spirited cornering.
Sport exhaust system.
With its large volume and two Black stainless steel tailpipes set apart, the lightweight stainless steel sport exhaust system triggers an endless flow of endorphins with every sound. In combination with the Weissach Package, the tailpipes are made of titanium and are reminiscent of the look of the Porsche 935 that was re-issued in 2018.
2025 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Comfort
Full bucket seats.
Plenty of lateral support with minimum weight. Full bucket seats made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) in carbon-weave finish with thorax airbag and seat center made of Black-backed, perforated Race-Tex in Arctic Gray or Deep Sea Blue, depending on the interior. The headrest is embroidered with “GT4 RS” lettering, and with the Weissach Package, it features the “Weissach RS” logo. The adaptive Sports seats Plus (18-way) are available as an option.
Chrono Package.
The performance display for displaying, saving and evaluating measured lap times is added to PCM with the Chrono Package. This means you can always keep an eye on the current lap time and distance as well as the number of laps completed so far. The analogue Chrono stopwatch on the dashboard upper section adds another visual highlight. Driving data can be displayed, recorded and analyzed precisely on your smartphone with the Porsche Track Precision App.
PDK gear lever.
The PDK gear selector in a GT-specific design looks like a manual gear lever and is functionally similar to sequential gearboxes in race cars. This means that the gear selector must be pushed forward in the manual gate to downshift and pulled back for shifting up. The grip area and selector gaiter are finished in Race-Tex, and the shift pattern is in Racing Yellow.
Cockpit.
Designed for the driver, the cockpit offers quick access, clear information, maximum functionality, perfect ergonomics and a focus on the essentials. Materials and details are derived directly from motorsports. The airbox, which has been relocated to the interior, ensures visual and acoustic proximity to the engine.
2025 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Safety & Warranty
New Car Limited Warranty & Porsche 24-Hour Roadside Assistance Program for 4-Years / 50,000 Miles (whichever occurs first)
Lightweight construction.
Lighter. Even lighter. Closer to perfection. That was the principle behind the concept. The result is pure performance with a light curb weight of just 3,227 lbs.
Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV).
The PTV improves the driving dynamics. The integrated mechanical rear differential lock enables higher traction and significantly improved lateral dynamics and driving stability during load changes in corners and when changing lanes.
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM, –30 mm).
The electronic adjustment of the damping control system actively and continuously adjusts the damping force on each wheel, based on current road conditions and driving style. The PASM has two settings: sporty-comfortable and sporty-firm.
