DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System and Front Cross-Traffic Alert
Working in conjunction with EyeSight, the standard DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System is like having an attentive co-pilot along for the ride, available to give a helpful alert if a driver becomes distracted or drowsy. This system is designed to enhance the effectiveness of other safety systems while also increasing passenger safety within the vehicle. If its steering-column-mounted camera detects a distracted, drowsy, or incapacitated driver, it will provide an alert. DriverFocus also combines with other safety systems such as Emergency Driving Stop System by allowing them to intervene earlier when necessary. Front Cross-Traffic Alert6 watches for unexpected traffic from either side and can alert you to approaching vehicles — including those that may not be visible from the driver’s seat.
